Eastern & Northern Dumpling Restaurant

Though the name of the restaurant suggests, this restaurant serves more than just dumplings.

We felt like something simple for dinner so we decided to try out this restaurant as they are known for their dumplings (hence the name of the restaurant).  Everytime we walk past the restaurant there are always a lot of people inside.

We ordered the eggplant with smashed garlic.  This is an appetiser and is served cold.  Be warned; this dish comes loaded with garlic, so if you don't like too much garlic, scrape some off first.

The spinach dish sauteed with garlic was a little milder compared to our appetiser dish.

The handmade noodles with braised ox-tail was perfect!  The ox-tail was cooked just right, that you could peel the meat off the bone without having to touch the bone.  The broth tasted nice and had a smooth consistency.

Hubby suggested we try the Beef Chinese pizza, as it reminded him of the ones he had in Taiwan.  The verdict - yummy, the Beef was cooked and the outer was fried to perfection!

The pork and vegetable dumplings tasted homemade, the pasty was smooth and the contents cooked to perfection.

There are a lot of other dishes on the menu too so would be worth checking out a second time.
